Once again on the television and in the newspapers we hear and read the words "we inherited the problem" from the Bush administration. These people need to be taken out back to the wood shed and have their backsides blistered for lying to and disrespecting the people. Note to the Democratic congressmen and women: You cannot "inherit" something from yourself. ...more

Some people seem to be obsessed with the idea that this president is going to fix everything if we just give him a chance, even though it has long been evident that he has a low opinion of this country. It is very evident whenever he gives a speech before the leaders of other countries. Is it not absurd for a sitting president to besmirch his own country before the world? We have seen the "change" but where is the "hope?" I find it hard to believe that according to some polls, Obama is still given a 40-50 percent approval rating. Much too high! ...more

"Annie Oakley" in the White House, was not all that appealing to the majority of voters as the election showed. ...more

A large number of words were printed and said absolutely nothing. This piece purports to examine our political process, and yet I do not see the message unless it is "no change." I don't believe that we will ever achieve real "change" in this country until we vote out every career politician. ...more
