Would you join me in praying for our president? Like many of you I didn't vote for him, but none the less he is our president. He truly does have a momentous task before him and he needs our support and wisdom only God can give. He has offered a couple of things that are promising, saying that any treaty between Israel and Palestine for peace would have to stop the rockets aimed at Israel and the flow of underground arms from other countries. As I understand it, the arms are coming from Egypt through underground tunnels. So, it is easy to see, Israel is not only at war with Palestine but also with others who are contributing to the effort. We may not want to admit it but this is an underhanded, unfair conflict which is apt to get worse before it gets better. ...more
