Caron Butler scored 21 and Antawn Jamison added 20 points and 10 rebounds to lift the Washington Wizards to an 88-83 victory against the Boston Celtics on Monday night. Butler scored nine points during a 25-6 run over the final 6:24 of the fourth quarter to give the Wizards their fifth win in the last six games against Boston. Boston lost consecutive games at home and overall for the first time all season and dropped to 30-6. The Celtics are 2-3 over their last five and have averaged 85 points a game over that span. Eddie House scored his only five points of the game to give the Celtics their largest lead at 77-63 with 6:24 remaining before the Wizards rallied. SPURS 89, 76ERS 82: Manu Ginobili scored 14 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter to lead San Antonio to victory over Philadelphia. Tim Duncan added 18 points and 16 rebounds to give the Spurs their second straight win. JAZZ 98, BUCKS 87: Deron Williams scored 24 of his 33 points in the second half and had 10 assists as Utah rallied to beat Milwaukee. Last Tuesday marked a huge milestone for the Sebring Senior Softball League games. It was the beginning of the League's use of the new Highlands County Sports Complex in Sebring. At 9 a.m. more than 100 players arrived and were anxiously trying to locate their appropriate designated areas. When the time for "let's play ball" came, eight teams began to play simultaneously on four fields, a first time ever for the League to be gathered in one place. STARS 3, WILD 1: Antti Miettinen scored two goals to help Dallas end a four-game losing streak with a 3-1 victory over Minnesota. Rookie Matt Niskanen also scored for the Stars, who hadn't lost four in a row since a five-game skid in 2003. Mike Ribeiro, who signed a new five-year, $25 million contract on Monday, added two assists for Dallas. Brenden Morrow also had two assists for the Stars, 6-0-2 in their last eight home games against the Wild. Mark Parrish scored Minnesota's goal. It was his 12th of the season and extended his goal-scoring streak to four games. The Stars and Wild have seen quite a bit of each other lately, meeting for the third time in a 13-day span. OILERS 4, ISLANDERS 0: Mathieu Garon made 35 saves for his third shutout of the season and Ales Hemsky and Shawn Horcoff had a goal and assist each for Edmonton, which beat New York and earned its first regulation win in 17 games.
