WINTER PARK — Sebring senior Sam Robinson earned a top-10 finish on Friday during the Class 3A state finals at Winter Park High School. Robinson finished 10th in the boys 200-meter dash with a time of 22.40 seconds, narrowly missing out on the finals. SEBRING — Sam Robinson and T.J. Williams put pen to paper and took the next step in their athletic and academic lives on Wednesday, as both Sebring football standouts signed letters of intent to play football at separate community colleges in Mississippi. Robinson, a multi-talented, multi-position offensive weapon, will head to Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, Miss., while Williams, a bruising running back, will take his talents to Holmes Community College in Goodman, Miss. "I want to continue to work on my game, be coachable and be the best I can be," said Williams, who has family in Mississippi and noted he'll likely line up as a running back for the Bulldogs. PALMETTO — Sam Robinson grimaced and Palmetto's Norman Haynes pumped his fist in the air after draining a 3-pointer at the buzzer before halftime, a shot that turned out to be a tell-tale sign for the Sebring boys basketball team.
