Church Offering Stolen From Sheriff's Stepmom; Man Jailed

The Polk County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Lakeland man, accusing him of stealing church tithes and offerings. Harold Samuel Williams, 28, was held without bail at the Polk County Jail this morning, records show. He is charged with felony robbery and a misdemeanor, disrupting a religious assembly. ...more
