LAND O' LAKES – A man died early this morning, hours after being struck by a private ambulance on State Road 52 about 10 p.m. Thursday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The 47-year-old man, whose name has not been released pending notification of family, was walking west on the shoulder of S.R. 52 at Ehren Cutoff, just west of San Antonio, when the ambulance's mirror struck him, Sgt.
