The GFWC Tampa Junior Woman's Club Ghostwalk Event on March 20 was a success with more than 75 people attending and $1,800 raised for the TIGER Scholarship. The scholarship - TIGER stands for The Individual Growth in Education Recipient - helps provide continuing education for Tampa Bay area students. It is awarded based on an applicant's high school grades, merit, financial situation and an essay. This year's scholarship applications are being reviewed, and winners will receive checks at a ceremony May 20 at the Woman's Club Clubhouse.
