The University of South Florida took control of the troubled Johnnie B. Byrd Sr. Alzheimer's Center and Research Institute this summer, and on Wednesday it announced that 19 of the center's 71 workers have been laid off, most of them administrators. The CBS program "60 Minutes" aired the "Age of Warming." It was an attempt to scare everyone into the global warming camp. I believe there is more theory than fact in the presentation. They should have given equal time to those scientists who disagree with the theory they presented. CBS also went out of their way to blame the administration for editing some of the reports. The reporter even said he could hear the ice melting. What he heard was water running. I don't believe you can hear ice melting. You can hear water hit something solid when dripping. ...more
