Detectives arrested a Pinellas County detention deputy this morning while he was on duty and charged him with doctor shopping and prescription fraud. The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said Michael Bowman was arrested following an investigation that started in August after the department received information he was getting treatment from more than one doctor with the intent to get prescriptions for hydrocodone and oxycodone. ...more

Not everyone living near Floriland Mall was against the housing there of Tampa's homeless. I, for example, who live within walking distance of that mall, would have welcomed them to my neighborhood with open arms.
