A gunman who tried to rob a couple outside a restaurant fled when one of the victims fought back, karate chopping the would-be robber's arm, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office reported. The gunman remains at large, despite deputies' efforts to track him with a dog, the report said. The attempted robbery happened about 9 p.m. Monday as a husband and wife, ages 59 and 58, left the Sioux City Steakhouse at 8515 Little Road, where they had just eaten dinner, the report said.
