I know all local businesses can't wait for the "snowbirds" to arrive, and aid in the help of stimulating our local economy to last through the summer months. Well, I opened my business in April 2008 with the fear of making it through the summer even with the recent departure of the northerners. Now with the approaching one year anniversary of my business, I would like to give thanks to all the local patrons that made this past year a success for me. I do not understand why we have to resort to calling 911 when our neighbors are disturbing others in the building. I understand it when the disturbance occurs during the night; I had to call the police at 1 a.m. on a few occasions. ...more
