In full agreement with the article written by Ed Cunningham, we should all write or call our insurance commissioner and Gov. Charlie Crist and tell him we think that State Farm should not be allowed to sell any type of insurance in the state of Florida if they do not want to insure our homes. Let's get them out of this state completely; they have bullied our entire state, including our officials, for the last time. ...more

Concerning your letter to Florida State Farm customers reminding us that you're there for us for our other insurance needs, when you cancel our home insurance, forget it, Jim! If your company can't take care of me after 42 years of loyalty to you, I don't need you! Hopefully, the 1 million-plus homeowners in Florida will do the same and shut you down. ...more

With the news that State Farm will be canceling all home insurance policies in the next two years, our Florida insurance commissioner needs to inform State Farm that if you will not insure our homes, you will also not insure our autos, RVs and boats, nor provide any type of insurance product and leave the state of Florida permanently. Any takers out there? I am a long term State Farm policy holder but my search for a new insurer for my home and vehicle starts today. ...more
