In fairness to the Mexican working class, their borders are also open to foreign nationals from all over the world. Greedy corporations worldwide are promoting "open borders" for the purpose of cheap labor and to also violate tariff laws where applied. Example: The North American Free Trade Agreement "NAFTA." This trade agreement sharply lowered tariffs and investment barriers among the three countries: Mexico, Canada and the United States. It has also violated the sovereignty of all three nations, creating a North American Union. America's pantry is being raided by many foreign nations. First, American industry was raided and millions of American jobs were outsourced to foreign nations using the American tax dollar to relocate these industries. Then, the jobs that were left on shore were filled with guest workers and foreign illegals from all over the world, then we had many unfair trade deals. The out-sourcing and the hiring of illegals, the hiring of guest workers, have all caused a decline of America's wage scale, and is directly the cause of our collapsed economy. Our young men and women who are fighting this illegal war in Iraq will be very upset when this war is brought to a close and they come home to a job market that has been filled with illegals and guest workers. There will be many thousands of unemployed veterans who will not take kindly to not being able to get jobs that they feels should be theirs. The Democrats are unwilling to debate illegal immigration, and guest workers who are not needed when we have a declining economy. If they are unwilling to represent the American working class, then the next president will more than likely be Mitt Romney, who has taken a strong stand on illegals and guest workers, and to take a look at all the "unfair trade deals." ...more
