SAN ANTONIO A Pasco County Sheriff's Office deputy has been injured in a single-vehicle crash. A male deputy on his way to work was driving on St. Joe Road by StarBright Drive when he lost control of his marked, agency vehicle and struck a power pole, said sheriff's office spokesman Doug Tobin, in a news release. He is being taken by helicopter to a Tampa area hospital. Dispatch received the call at 4:22 p.m. today, Tobin said.
