Regarding "Bay Area Tops For Lead Foot" (front page, Feb. 1): I have been driving for over 50 years on this country's highways and byways. I had never seen, nor been closely involved in, an accident or multiple-vehicle pileup until a year ago at the intersection of Interstate 75 and Fowler Avenue.
