Authorities are investigating the death of a man who jumped off the Bayside Bridge Saturday afternoon. Motorists reported seeing the man leave his parked vehicle in the northbound span and jump into the water around noon, authorities said. A Clearwater Fire and Rescue diver found the man within 10 minutes. The diver brought the man onboard a rescue vessel and took him to Courtney Campbell Beach, where he was pronounced dead, said Elizabeth Daly-Watts, public information officer for Clearwater Fire and Rescue.
