A lot of our problems stem from the North American Trade Union plan. This idea started with NAFTA in Bush Sr.'s administration; many of us knew very little about what NAFTA actually was. I'm sure as we look back and think about how prices have increased as well as the inferiority of the products we're receiving, not many of us would see it as a good thing. Cynthia Woods lost her son to gunfire three years ago. Today, her life was touched by violence again when an unknown gunman shot and killed her daughter-in-law as she slept in a car along the shores of Lake Maggiore. Police identified the victim as Angela Burgess, 32, of St. Petersburg. The mother of four died at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds, the 13th homicide in the city this year. ...more

SEBRING — Trotting through chutes in a cow pen, Hill-Gustat Middle School agriculture students got a close look Wednesday at the workings of a cattle ranch from the perspective of the cattle. Ranch Manager Bob Mayworth corralled teacher Rebekah Wills' students in the pens and separated the boys and girls for a weigh-in on a large livestock scale. Sliding the counter weights, Mayworth determined the boys weighed a total of 4,250 pounds. The lower number of girls, including two adults, weighed 2,870 pounds. We worry and fret about the price of gasoline, the cost of food and the lack of rain. These things are insignificant compared to the plans that are being worked on which will change our lives and country. Little is known about these plans as they are being carried out in a clandestine fashion. I am talking about an effort by the present administration to establish what can be described as a union between the United States, Mexico and Canada, very much like the European Union, described as a North American Union. If this comes about, it will mean the eventual end of our Constitution, our government being replaced by a North American government. ...more
