Tampa man charged in attack on ex-girlfriend

A 35-year-old Tampa man armed with a gun came into his ex-girlfriend's home and assaulted her, causing head injuries, Hillsborough County deputies say. The woman is in critical condition at St. Joseph's Hospital, sheriff's spokesman J.D. Callaway said. The attack occurred about 1 a.m. Sunday. Deputies arrested William Dixon on Sunday night. ...more
