Soak it up while you can, because the unseasonably cool air in the Tampa Bay area won't stick around long.
The region will get another day of comfort and then it's back to normal, said News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann.
High temperatures across the area will only reach the low to mid-70s today, about 10 degrees below normal, Spann said.
The breeze will start to die down and humidity levels will stay low today, giving the area a high fire danger, she said.
Temperatures will drop back into the low to mid-50s tonight before climbing to the high 70s on Wednesday.
"As quickly as it comes, it goes," Spann said. "Such an unseasonable cool-down doesn't last very long in the middle of April."
Temperatures climb back into the mid-80s by Thursday and the high 80s by the weekend.
The area's next chance of rain comes this weekend, with a 10 percent chance Saturday and 20 percent chance Sunday.
