Cold night shelters will be open tonight in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties as forecasters predict the temperatures will dip into the 30s, and winds will gust up to 23 mph.
The following shelters are open tonight in Hillsborough County:
Bethune Park Rural Shelter (South County) 5809 Edina St. in Wimauma. This shelter is for adults and families. It will remain open until 8 a.m., and meals will be provided. Phone: (813) 671-7618
Brandon Community Center, 510 E. Sadie St, in Brandon, is for homeless individuals and families with children in the Brandon area. It will stay open until 6:30 a.m., and meals will be provided. Phone: (813) 635-8179.
Metropolitan Ministries, 2010 N. Florida Ave. in Tampa. is for families. After hours phone: (813) 209-1077.
Salvation Army, 1514 N. Florida Ave. in Tampa, is only for adults. After hours phone: (813) 221-4440.
